About Us

Our website address is: https://theperhamchronicles.com. It is our intention to share an informal look at North County History, both distant and recent, from the mouths of the natives, the homesteaders, and the early European settlers, to more recent observations shared by working class Mainers, farmers, small business owners, new comers, and visitors to The North County area. In The Perham Chronicles we will also be taking an unabashed, fun-filled, look at our North County through the eyes and ears of  newcomers and Canadians. We hope everyone arriving at this site will find our stories interesting, sometimes humorous, and always enlightening as well as entertaining.

Finally, things being what they are these days, we have to make clear that names, characters, businesses, events and incidents in the Transplant category are the products of individual authors’ recollections, and perhaps imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. While surely there will be lots of coincidences, this is a work of fiction, based on true histories. All names in all the Transplant stories have been changed to protect the guilty as well as the innocent.

We hope you will join us and perhaps share your own stories and experiences with the world.
